I am proud to have stood with the community since 2013 in opposition to the West Byron mega-development. The negative environmental and social impacts far outweigh the short term mega profits of a few property investors.
We saw loud and clear, with over 5 thousand submissions to Council opposing this inappropriate development, that this is not the will of the community.
We must keep up the pressure before it's too late!

We the undersigned stand against the mega housing developments proposed for West Byron due to the:
- Massive increase in traffic along Ewingsdale Road
- Environmental impact, particularly on the nearby wetlands and Belongil Creek
- Impact on wildlife including the Byron Coastal koala population and Wallum frog species
- Visual impact of a sea of roofs with very few green spaces
We ask you to say NO THANKS to over-development of West Byron and consider the community and the environment in planning decision making.
